Elegantech Labs, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") operates Authra (the "Service"), available at authraa.com and via the Authra mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash).
Profile photo: Representatives may optionally upload a profile photo. This image is stored in our cloud storage and displayed on verification results to help verifiers confirm identity.
Authorization data: Companies provide representative names, email addresses, roles, and optional expiry dates when issuing authorizations.
Usage data: We may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited for security and performance monitoring.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Authra verification service
- To authenticate users and maintain account security
- To enable companies to issue and manage authorizations
- To allow third parties to verify the status of an authorization
- To send transactional emails related to your account or authorizations
- To improve and monitor the performance of the Service
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Verification results: When an authorization is active, the representative's name, role, company, expiry, and profile photo are publicly visible to anyone who looks up that Authra ID. Representatives accept this by accepting an authorization.
- Service providers: We use Supabase for database and authentication services. Your data is stored on their infrastructure under their data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Authorization records are retained to maintain an audit trail. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and row-level security policies on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
6. Children's Privacy
Authra is intended for business use and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
